Ordering directly from Aladin Korea
Aladin’s overseas-delivery guide distinguishes books from other products and notes that non-book items can face delivery restrictions. Its US non-book shipping notice is another reason to check current notices before ordering albums, DVDs, gifts, or bundled extras. Do not apply a book’s delivery eligibility to every item in the cart.[1][2]
When a Korean proxy purchase may help
Request help when you need a specific Korean listing, edition, or seller that you cannot order through the available direct route. Send the listing so we can review it. A proxy is not a guarantee that an item restricted from international shipping can be sent by another route.
What to check before ordering
Use the ISBN and edition to identify a book
Include the ISBN if shown, the volume number, and whether you want a single book or a box set. Note the language and edition. For illustrated editions or special covers, point to the exact listing so a standard edition is not mistaken for your requested version.
Check extras separately from the main book
Aladin’s guide notes potential restrictions for non-book contents, including certain magazine supplements. Describe any gift, bonus disc, or other bundled item that matters to the purchase so it can be reviewed along with the book.[1]
Identify the seller for used copies
If your request is for a used book, send the individual seller’s listing and the stated condition. A listing for the new edition does not identify the used copy you want. Tell us whether a different condition or seller would be acceptable if that copy sells out.
